Individual Headshot sessions are made at my studio and Executive and groups at your premises or on location. Minimising the time taken out of your day.
At your premises I will set up a mini professional studio with a backdrop. The space required is about 3m x 3m. This can be in a boardroom, a quiet corridor, or a break room.
For an environmental portrait, it can be almost anywhere at your premises with a reasonable space.
Supplied images come complete with a usage licence.
Each image is supplied in two sizes, one lo-res for online use and one hi-res for print.
four easy steps
📅 Introductory Consultation and Session Booking
An initial complimentary 30-minute call to discuss your Headshot, style, location and availability. Book a Session – Select the date and location. Sign the contract and submit the session fee £75 to reserve the date.
📷 Headshot Shoot
I will set up a mini studio at your premises which will take about 30 minutes once unloaded. Each individual will be photographed separately with a small number of looks, sculpting the face with flattering lighting and directing what to do with standing, sitting, hands, posture, and where to look. Reviewing images on the back of the camera for a quick approval.
🎞 Selection
Each person chooses their favourite images at their desk from a private online gallery which feeds back instantly to me their selection.
Now relax, your work is done, I will finish the chosen images colour balancing if necessary and removing small blemishes before creating the files for delivery.
✈ Deliver
As soon as the images are finalised they will be sized and output ready to be delivered digitally to either the individual or the agreed person, via email or by file transfer depending upon size. Final payment is due prior to delivery.

More than a headshot, a personal branding session tells your visual story expressing you and what you stand for. It is a set of photographs focused on you, your values, and style. Together we will formulate a cohesive visual narrative that will set you apart and reflect your target audience.
pricing
Pricing starts at £199 for an individual Headshot at the studio.
Individual and Team Headshots
Includes two finished digital images each sized for both print and web use.
Team Headshots are priced according to the size of the team.
Executive Headshots
Allow for two outfits and includes a longer shoot up to one hour with four finished digital images each sized for both print and web use.
Environmental Headshots
This is an opportunity for a more focused set of six finished digital pictures to tell the story of your role and work usually taken around your premises. This is a half day session allowing time for more considered styling and creativity.
Personal Branding
Is a full day session taking time to express you, your values and your style.
All images come with Usage Rights
The non-exclusive licence allows image usage for personal and professional purposes, for web, social media and print marketing, such as company brochures and trade magazines.
The non-exclusive licence does not include the resale of the photographs either digitally or in print. Copyright remains with David Close Photography. The non-exclusive licence and copyright means that I may use the images for promotional and business purposes.

what to wear
Plain colours generally work best, avoiding logos or anything too busy. Wear clothes that are comfortable, and make you look good. For team headshots to look consistent aim to be coordinated again avoiding logos and patterns. Softer more natural colours make for a stronger collective picture and pastels or natural, blues, whites, browns etc. so the focus of attention goes to you and your face to make a more timeless finish.
Be fresh
Avoid too much alcohol the night before and get a good nights rest.
Hair and makeup
It might be good to treat yourself to a haircut. Do try to avoid fake tan as this does not come across very well.
How to stand or sit
Don’t worry unless you are a model with experience, you can leave all that to me to guide and direct you.
