Find a time that is free, with no distractions to calmly discuss the bigger picture for the wedding. Such as style, traditional or contemporary etc. As this guides all other choices – venues dress etc.
💛 Research ideas
Pinterest and Instagram are great starting places, then venues, bridal magazines etc.
💛 Use a wedding planning book
Available online or book stores and often via bridal magazines.
💛 Create a shared master Checklist
Such as Google Docs or Apple Notes etc.
💛 Talk to friends recently married
They will know first hand all the easy bits and the challenging ones.
💛 Make time for yourselves away from planning
As the wedding gets closer the more intense everything especially time becomes checking and arranging all the details. Take time out away from all the planning, put the laptop down or take a weekend break just to chill.
