The voucher is for a family portrait studio photography experience with David Close.

The portrait shoot is a great way for couples and families or indivuduals to make memory moments to be cherished for years to come.  Perhaps as a piece of wall art of the family or just an update to pictures around the home.  Maybe a celebration for a special event.

what to expect

The portrait shoot lasts up to three hours. With as many changes of outfit as you would like.

Together we will pack in as many different shots as possible, with chilled settings including individuals, pairing and groups etc.

The session is about being relaxed and having fun.  No need to press children into looking at the camera.  Let them be natural.

With children I may ask for your help but I may also ask you to step back and allow me to connect directly.  You will remain in the studio but just take a seat and relax!

Following the shoot the image will have basic post-production.  We will then arrange a viewing session for you to choose your favourite picture for the 7″ gift frame.  The viewing will also be an opportunity to order, without obligation, additional pictures for your wall or a small album.

The gift frame will usually be available within seven working days.  Availability of additional Wall Art, framed prints etc. will be advised subsequently.

how to prepare

What to wear

Choose colours that complement each other so that no one person stands out and looks out of place.  No need to all come in matching colours as often happens in America with blue jeans and white tee-shirts.

Warm colours head towards reds, oranges, earthy and autumn tones. Welcome colours are gold, orange, rust, yellow, green grass shades etc.

Cool colours are, blues, purples, pinks etc. Also Plum, fuchsia royal blue, burgundy or emerald etc.

Neutrals sit in the middle with rose, brown, camel, navy blue, olive, and ivory and of course greys,

Black and white are best avoided as they compete with skin tone and tend to dominate.

Also avoid patterns, stripes, checks and spots and also bold logos and pictures as the detract from your personality.

Wear clothes that are comfortable but avoid baggy clothes.  Well fitting enhances your look.

If you will be bringing a baby or very young children please bring nappies and wet wipes and spare clothes, plus their favourite toys.

Viewing session

7″ gift desk frame

Basic post-production

The desk framed picture will be available usually with fourteen working days from viewing session.

terms and conditions:

  • The voucher cannot be used to purchase images from a previous session.
  • Only one voucher may be used per individual, couple or family per shoot.
  • The voucher must be used as stated and cannot be exchanged for cash.
  • Customers must attend both the shoot and the viewing for the voucher to be valid and to receive the gift frame.
  • The voucher must be used within six months from the date of issue.
  • Vouchers cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer.
