wedding
experienceyour experience
Your photography may be a new experience for you, which I hope will be exceptional, from our first point of contact to the hand over of your wedding story book and any additional prints or wall art.
Most important is that you feel relaxed. I am often told that my politeness, kindness and friendly style help to relax you quickly.
While at the centre is the emotion, the feelings and the love you have for each other,
I aim to deliver photographs that capture the love but at the same time have a fashion feel that attract brides and grooms who aspire to the look and style regularly featured in leading fashion magazines.
Of course the family pictures are immensely important and we like to make space in the day to create arrangements that break away from the regimental line ups, showing your family and friends in a much more natural way.
the wedding
- About a month before the wedding we will meet again to discuss the finer details of the day, timings, guests, significant loved ones, group shots, special moments on the day etc. this is the time when the final balance is due.
- On the day of the wedding I would normally be with the groom from first thing, then on to the brides place of getting ready before heading off to the place of the ceremony.
- Normally I would take greeting shots of you and your guests right after the ceremony, followed by the requested group photographs.
- Ideally en route to the reception you will have built in an hour for us to stop off for some beautiful portraits either in an urban setting or in a park.
- Once at the reception you will have plenty of time to relax with your guests before the breakfast and the speeches and of course the cutting of the cake.
- Finally into the evening after capturing those hilarious and emotional speeches, I will photograph your first dance before heading off, leaving you to party into the night, unless of course you have a special event such as fireworks.
after the wedding day
- About a month after the wedding when you are back from honeymoon we will meet for the viewing of the pictures taken on the day in front of a big screen.
- Here we can discuss you wedding storybook. To help with that process I will have a provisional design telling the story of the day as I saw it. You of course have the final decision so you are free to make changes. I will guide you in what works for the best result.
- We can also discuss any additional products such as Wall Art, parents albums, picture boxes, thank you cards and the order process for prints for family and friends.
- After the viewing I will make the amendments and the final retouching of images that are included in the Storybook.
- A pdf copy will be sent to you for final approval and sign off before the Storybook goes for printing.

post wedding
When the wedding day is so busy some couples like to take the opportunity to have a more relaxed portrait session either the day after the wedding or on return from honeymoon.
This is a great time to put the dress on again and enjoy a relaxed photography shoot in the quietness after all the activity of the wedding day.
